Wactor, 37, was shot in the early hours of May 25 after he and colleague Anita Joy encountered three men attempting to steal his vehicle’s catalytic converter following a late night shift.

My only peace is that I was with him and this didn't happen to him alone—my only other peace will be seeing these awful men brought to justice.”
